Even though the two are separated, Ashley Judd still supports her estranged husband, race car driver Dario Franchitti. In a new interview, she said that he would always be her “loved one.”

The Divergent actress recently spoke with Ladies’ Home Journal and said that they are still a part of each other’s lives.

“He'll always be my loved one,” she said, reports Us Weekly. “Even before our wedding, we agreed not to tell people about our relationship, but to show them instead. What we're showing them now is we're human, we're family, and this is what family looks like.”

Judd and Franchitti, now retired, split in January 2013. Still, she was there to support him after his horrific crash in Houston in October 2013. There were rumors that they would try to get back together, but are still separated.

Judd has had other family issues, including a rough relationship with her sister, singer Wynonna Judd, and her mother, Naomi Judd.

During the interview, Judd was also asked what she’d tell her younger self, notes the Daily Mail. “I'd hold her!” she said. “Adolescence was exceedingly difficult for me...Only when I got into therapy and started to understand what neglect looked like was I able to ask, ‘Where were the teachers? Where was everybody?’”

Judd can be seen in Divergent with Shailene Woodley this weekend.
