Bachelorette alum, Ashley Herbert, and her husband J.P. Rosenbaum are expecting their first child. The couple made the big announcement on the cover of InTouch, with Herbert showing off her tiny baby bump.
Herbert told InTouch she’s three months pregnant and due in October.
“I’m a little nervous, but we’re very excited. I’ve wanted a child for a while,” she said, with Rosenabaum expressing relief he didn’t have to keep the secret any longer. “It’s nice not to have to keep a secret anymore. We’re beyond thrilled,” he said.
Following two months of trying to get pregnant, in true Bachelor fashion they actually found out for certain that they were expecting at Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici’s wedding.
“That’s when we officially found out — of course it would be at a Bachelor wedding!” said the dad-to-be.
E! Online reports Herbert first appeared on Brad Womack’s season of The Bachelor, and she then became The Bachelorette in 2011, where she chose her now-husband. They got married in a televised event in 2012.
