BBC America has given a series order for Almost Royal, which will be the network's first original scripted comedy.
The order was for only seven episodes and comes from Burning Bright Productions, reports Deadline. The series is set to premiere on June 21, right after the finale of Orphan Black's second season.
BBC America only recently started producing original programming, with Copper being the first, followed by the hit Orphan Black and now Almost Royal.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series will star Ed Gamble and Amy Hoggart, who will play Georgie and Poppy Carlton, respectively. They are the heirs to a Norfolk, England estate, the Caunty Manor.
They have lived sheltered and privileged lives and have decided to visit the United States and agreed to let a camera crew follow them and document the adventure. The trip for the siblings serves both as a way to see the world and honor their father, Lord Carlton, who passed away.
Chris Faith and Marcus Liversedge are on board to direct, while Clive Tulloh executive produce, while Seamus Murphy-Mitchell produces.
