Britney Spears’ younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, will marry her fiancé Jamie Watson in Louisiana on Friday. The couple obtained a marriage license on March 5 and indicated the date of their wedding would be March 14, 2014.
The “How Could I Want More?” singer, 22, who has a 5-year-old daughter, Maddie, with her ex-fiance Casey Aldridge, has been engaged to Watson for a year.
ABC News reports after obtaining a marriage license, couples have 30 days to tie the knot. They also listed on the marriage license, which they filed at Tangipahoa Parish Clerk of Courts, that they’re registered at Bed Bath & Beyond.
After taking some time off, Spears released “How Could I Want More?” in November and she also appeared on a Britney Jean song with her older sister called "Chillin' With You."
E! Online notes Spears and Watson have kept wedding plans pretty secret but she did note she found the “perfect” wedding dress back in January. The bridal shop she purchased the dress, I Do Bridal Coutur, from revealed she chose Liancarlo as the designer.
