TV actress Vanessa Williams and musician Adam Levine celebrate their birthdays today.

TV actress Vanessa Williams turns 51 today. The singer, actress, record producer, producer and fashion model has entertained a number of difference audiences throughout her career.

Originally from Millwood, New York, Williams played French horn and piano growing up. She attended Syracuse University for a degree in Musical Theatre Arts in 1981 and graduated in 2008. In 1984, she became the first African American Miss America winner.

As for her musical career, Vanessa Williams released her first album in 1988 titled The Right Stuff. It was a success and led to three Grammy Award nominations and a few chart singles. Familiar songs are “Love Is” with Brian McKnight and “Colors of the Wind.”

Williams resume includes: acting in on and off Broadway productions, films Dance with Me and Soul Food and TV series Ugly Betty and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air plus many more accomplishments.

Vanessa Williams was first married to Ramon Hervey II from 1987 until 1997 and they had three kids, Melanie, Jillian and Devin. She later married basketball player Rick Fox in 1999 and they had one kid Sasha. The two were divorced in 2004.

Musician Adam Levine turns 34 today. The singer-songwriter, TV music competition coach, entrepreneur and actor has showed his passion within his musical career.

Originally from Los Angeles, California, Levine has always had a musical calling. His first band titled Kara’s Flowers turned in Maroon 5 after years of musical exploration. The band sound changed to a groove sound, which they are most noted for.

Maroon 5 hits include “This Love,” “Won’t Go Home Without You” and “Payphone.” Levine has also worked with artists like Kanye West, Alicia Keys and Ying Yang Twins. His resume also includes TV comedic appearances on shows “Saturday Night Live” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live!.” Not to mention, Levine has been serving as a musical coach on TV show The Voice since 2011.

Levine dated Russian model Anne Vyalitsyna from 2010 until 2012. The next month he started dating Namibian model Behati Prinsloo and after a brake up, the two were engaged in 2013. Levine was also named People magazine’s Sexist Man Alive in that same year and he is first singer to win that title.
