Actor Charlie Sheen has not been showing up in recent weeks to shoot episodes of his show Anger Management and because of Sheen's absence production has been hindered as a result.
The Hollywood Reporter exclusively reports how Sheen has not shown up for a number of days in the last couple of weeks and his no shows have caused Lionsgate, to push back production of the show. In Sheen's absence stand-in's have been used in his place and many of Sheen's cast mates are frustrated by this and are insisting they will leave the show if Sheen keeps up with his antics of not showing up. However, Sheen's publicist Jeff Ballard claims Sheen is not holding up production. Ballard states, "Charlie is always ready, willing and able to shoot Anger Management and looks forward to returning on Monday."
E! Online reveals how last year Selma Blair was fired from the show after receiving a text from Sheen. Although, Sheen doesn't have the power to fire anyone, he knows that since he is the star of the show, it wouldn't succeed without him. According to a source, Sheen was aware that after Anger Management was given a order of 90 episodes by FX, if the show wanted to go on he had to be apart of it.
