Chelsea Handler laid into Piers Morgan when she appeared on his CNN show Piers Morgan Live this week, telling him she can tell why his show was canceled because he has poor interviewing skills.

The Chelsea Lately host and comedienne, 39, who’s never afraid to be brutally honest, claimed Morgan didn’t pay any attention to her during one of their commercial breaks. Instead, he was tweeting the whole time.

When they got back on air, Handler made sure to tell him he is a “terrible interviewer,” Daily News reports.

"I mean, you can't even pay attention for 60 seconds. You're a terrible interviewer," she said. He responded, "Well, you just weren't keeping my attention. It's more an issue for you than me.”

She then said, "This is your show. You have to pay attention to the guest that you invited on your show. Maybe that's why your job is coming to an end."

Morgan took to Twitter after it aired and wrote, “If I'm such a 'terrible interviewer' @chelseahandler - how come everyone's now tweeting & debating our interview... mwah x.”

As we previously reported, CNN announced last month they were canceling Piers Morgan Live.

"Piers Morgan Live is ending. The date of the final program is still to be determined,” said a spokesman.
