Chipotle has filed a lawsuit against Frank Ocean after he backed out of an ad campaign for the popular restaurant.

Ocean signed a deal with Chipotle to appear in an animated ad for $425,000, according to TMZ, who first reported the story.

The Mexican Grill claims that the "Novacane" singer backed out of the deal after seeing the finished commercial and noticing that Chipotle's logo is shown at the end. Chipotle turned to Fiona Apple to sing the song for the ad, "The Scarecrow."

The Hollywood Reporter notes that Ocean received about $215,000 of the deal. The site adds that the Ocean was first shown the commercial before it was finished and at the time it didn't show the logo.

The ad was designed as part of a campaign that was trying to show off the problems associated with industrial farming and touting buying local.

A letter from Ocean's legal team says, "When Frank was asked to participate in this project, Chipotle's representatives told him that the thrust of the campaign was to promote responsible farming." It notes that the logo didn't appear when he first signed on to the campaign. The letter also claims that Ocean was told he would have "the right to approve the master and all advertising."

Chipotle has denied the last part of the letter and seeks the return of what the company paid him and additional damages.
