According to a letter from singer Chris Brown’s rehab facility, the Look at Me Now star suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder and bipolar disorder.
“Our clinical team believes Mr. Brown became aggressive and acted out physically due to his untreated mental health disorder, severe sleep deprivation, inappropriate self-medicating and untreated PTSD,” the letter reads according to the NY Daily News.
Brown re-enrolled in the rehab program back in November and is a model patient who wakes up at 5am and works hard notes Daily Mail.
The troubled singer appeared in court yesterday for a progress hearing related to his 2009 Rihanna assault felony case. During the hearing, it was noted that Brown completed 95 days of anger management, which is five more than the court order him to do so.
Brown also completed 250 hours of community labor and has a remaining 750 hours. According to E! Online, Brown does about 24 hours a week of community labor.
Following his court appearance, Brown tweeted, “Never really goes the way u plan #life.”
Brown will appear back in court in April for a probation violation hearing.
