Chris Brown can’t seem to keep out of trouble. The Los Angeles county sheriff’s deputies arrested the singer Friday afternoon for violating his probation from his 2009 conviction for assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna.

Brown was arrested in Malibu around 2 p.m. when a judge asked the rehab facility to alert authorities if Brown showed up to the building.

Although Brown complied with the deputies, multiple sources identified that they did not know how Brown violated his probation reported the L.A. Times. As previously reported, Brown was ordered to stay for two more months in rehab while he awaits the trial of his Washington D.C. case for allegedly punching a man. The trail is supposed to take place in late April.

Brown is being held without bail for the time being while the court evaluates a report that was submitted by the deputies for his alleged probation violation.

Back in November Brown was ordered to a 90-day live in anger management treatment program.
