Troubled singer Chris Brown was arrested Friday. The “Forever” hit maker was taken into custody by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies after he was kicked out of his court ordered drug rehab facility.
According to CNN, it’s not clear why Brown, 24, was kicked out of the Malibu rehab facility. Brown has been receiving anger management treatment from the facility for the past four months.
Brown went into custody with no hassle notes CBS News. He was transported from the Malibu facility to a jail in downtown Los Angeles.
His arrest comes as shock because in January, the rehab facility raved about the singer’s progress and his model behavior.
The singer is on probation for the infamous 2009 domestic attack on then girlfriend Rihanna. The judge in the case, ordered the singer to remain in rehab since November notes the Huffington Post.
Brown and his attorneys have yet to make a statement regarding the arrest. More details on the arrest will emerge Monday afternoon when Brown appears in court.
