Singer Chris Brown has been sent back to rehab by a L.A judge for two more months, in order to continue working on his anger and drug problems.
Chris Brown, 24, entered rehab for anger management in November after numerous physical altercations. New York Daily News reports that at a Los Angeles hearing on Friday, Brown was deemed to be a model patient at the rehab center, attending all of his therapy sessions and passing his drug tests. On recommendation from the Malibu rehab center, the judge ordered that Brown will spend two more months in treatment. The rehab facility represented themselves in a letter, saying, "Our clinical team believes Mr. Brown became aggressive and acted out physically due to untreated mental health disorder, severe sleep deprivation, inappropriate self-medicating and PTSD." The team also stated that Chris Brown is suffering from previously undiagnosed bipolar disorder.
The extended stay means that Brown will not be released from treatment until late April, when he will stand trial for an assault against an art student. The New York Daily News also reports that Brown still needs to fulfill the 750 hours of community service assigned from his 2009 assault on Rihanna. He has reportedly been working on the community service hours while in rehab.
