David Cassidy was sentenced on Monday to rehab and probation stemming from his latest conviction and third arrest since 2011 for drinking and driving.

According to TMZ, who first reported the news, Cassidy opted to plead no contest to his latest DUI charge.

He was sentenced to enter into a 90-day live-in rehab center, 60 months probation and also must complete a nine month alcohol education program. Cassidy's rep said "David is very committed to his sobriety" and that the judge gave him credit for 102 days he was enrolled at a rehab facility ahead of the sentencing.

CNN reports that the sentencing stems from his January arrest where he was charged with a DUI after he got pulled over for making an illegal turn at a red light in Los Angeles. The officer had him take a breathalyzer test and Cassidy registered a .19.

His manager spoke with CNN in January after Cassidy's arrest and explained that he had been stressed over dealing with a Partridge Family profits legal dispute.
