David Hasselhoff is letting some of his fans own a piece of his personal collection of bizarre memorabilia he’s acquired over the years. While that includes an incredibly cool Knight Rider car replica, a larger-than-life model of the Baywatch star is just the tip of the iceberg of strange items in the auction.
Hasselhoff is working with Julien’s Auctions of Beverly Hills to unload the items on April 11 and April 12. The collection was featured on Celebrity Home Raiders, which was hosted by Darren Julien and Martin Nolan of the auction house, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
The model of Hasselhoff has to be the strangest item in the collection. It was created for the Spongebob Squarepants Movie and is larger than Hasselhoff himself. He’s stretched out on a metal rack as if he’s gliding on water and it is on wheels. It’s expected to go for $20,000 to $30,000.
Hasselhoff’s Knight Rider KITT car was a fan-made replica Hasselhoff received as a gift from fans. That’s expected to sell for at least $30,000. There’s also a KITT-inspired golf cart, which is expected to sell for $2,000 to $4,000. He actually used the cart to take his children to soccer practice.
According to Entertainment Weekly, one of the other strange items is a denim jacket with an illustration on the back and water bottle pockets.
There’s also a Baywatch pinball machine, a deep-violet suit and an eskimo fur coat.
