Seems like there is a clawing catfight on Twitter between pop starlet Demi Lovato and comedian Kath Griffin.
E! Online reports that Griffin was asked who she thought the “biggest douche celebrity” was.
Griffin wrote on her Twitter, "Probably [Demi] Lovato,” in the tweet she called her “Debbie.” The sassy comedian then added, "Plus she should calm the f down bout Lady Gaga gettin barfed on." The tweet has been deleted.
Lovato fought back on Twitter by saying, "Only a 'douche' to people I can't stand," and she enclosed a picture with it. It is a picture of herself sticking he tongue out with Griffin in the background. Lovato’s tweet has also been deleted.
The 27-year-old pop star didn’t agree with Lady Gaga’s performance at SXSW because she felt it was being insensitive to eating disorders.
"Sad… As if we didn't have enough people glamorizing eating disorders already. Bottom line, it's not 'cool' or 'artsy' at all," said Lovato, "Would you let someone bring a needle and shoot up on you? Addiction is addiction.
Millie Brown, the artist that vomited on Lady Gaga during the performance talked about Lovato’s comment with MTV.
"I can understand why people would make that association, but my performance really is not a statement about eating disorders themselves," said Brown. "It's like using my body to express myself. I think a lot of people understand that I'm not trying to punish myself and my body in that way."
Brown went on to say that it was an act of art and nothing to do with bulimia. "I wanted to use my body to create a really raw performance and use my body to paint from the inside out to create something that truly came from within," said Brown.
