At an event at PaleyFest on Friday, actress Elisabeth Moss spoke about what it was like to work on the television show Mad Men. The discussion was moderated by Michael Schneider.
Moss plays Peggy Olson on the television series. Olson worked her way up the career ladder throughout the season, and ended up as a creative director. The actress feels a kinship to the professional journey of the character. Moss hopes that she “ends up happy with her professional ambitions,” according to HitFix.
Jon Hamm plays her boss, Don Draper, on the series. Moss discussed the characters' difficult relationship and how it affects Olson’s happiness. Mad Men also features Vincent Kartheiser, Jessica Pare, Kiernan Shipka, and Robert Morse, according to Entertainment Weekly. The show won the Golden Globe in 2010 for Best Television Series.
Moss was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series in 2011. She has also been seen in The One I Love, Listen Up Philip, and the mini-series Top of the Lake.
Mad Men returns on Sunday, April 13.
