Oscar-nominated actress Ellen Page is in talks to play John Belushi's wife in the biopic for the late comedian, which stars Emile Hirsch.
She would play Judith Jacklin, who Belushi dated in high school and later married, according to TheWrap, who first reported the news. Belushi's wife, now known as Judy Belushi Pisano, is on board with the project as a producer.
The Belushi biopic is the actress' first gig to sign on for after she announced that she was gay back in February. She does already have several projects in the pipeline though, as she will be in the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past and is waiting to start work on Queen & Country.
As previously reported in October, the Into the Wild actor Hirsch was cast to play the role of Belushi. He beat out Adam Devine and Joaquin Phoenix for the role.
Former Saturday Night Live co-star of Belushi's, Dan Aykroyd, will executive produce. The film is being directed by Steve Conrad, who also wrote the script, which is adapted from the book Belushi, by Pisano and Tanner Colby.
