Emma Watson has made it clear that she’s grown up since her Harry Potter days. The 23-year-old looks stunning in all denim as she poses for the April cover of Elle magazine.
Watson reveals in her interview with Elle that it wasn’t so easy being a child actor identified as her character in the Harry Potter series and that she actually envies other up-and-coming actresses, reports US Magazine.
“There are all these actresses who have emerged in the last year or two, and they get to emerge as this complete human being," she said. "And I'm so jealous!”
Although she has taken some time from acting to pursue her college education at Brown and Oxford, we’ll still be seeing her on the big screen. According to ABC, she will star alongside Russell Crowe in Noah, which hits theaters on March 28.
How does Watson maintain a life outside of acting? She explains how something Elizabeth Taylor once wrote helped her come to that realization.
“She had her first kiss in character. On a movie set. It really struck me," she told Elle. "I don't know how or why, but I had this sense that if I wasn't really careful, that could be me. That my first kiss could be in somebody else's clothes. And my experiences could all belong to someone else.”
