Eric Decker is bring his talents and his pregnant country singer wife Jessie James Decker to New York.
The Jets signed the former Broncos wide receiver to a five-year $36.25 million contract notes Sports Illustrated.
The buzz surrounding the deal began when Decker took a trip to New York on Tuesday and spent most of Wednesday at the Jet’s facilities.
Decker began his NFL career in 2010 and helped the Broncos make it to the Superbowl this year with his 11 touchdowns and 87 receptions for 1,288 yards.
“I’m very thankful for my four years in Denver. I think it’s one of the greatest cities to play in . . . Denver will always be a part of me, I’m excited about New York being my new community and starting a new chapter in my life. On top of all that, my wife’s expecting our baby any second,” said Decker according to the Denver Post.
Decker and his wife are also starring in a new reality series on E!, “Eric & Jessie.” The show will chronicle their daily life and how they balance their busy careers with their home life. The show is set to air on March 30th.
