Jennifer Lopez is battling her ex-boyfriend, Sean “Diddy” Combs in a bid for Fuse TV. The Lopez-backed NuvoTV has made an offer just days after Combs did.
Madison Square Garden Co.’s Fuse TV is looking for a buyer, and both Lopez’s NuvoTV and Combs have offered about $200 million for it.
Lopez is the chief creative officer of NuvoTV, which has an audience of about 32 million, Reuters reports. Diddy owns Revolt TV, and he’s looking to merge the two if he wins the bid.
Kimberly Kerns, spokeswoman for Madison Square Garden, would only say in a statement about reports of their offers, “As we have stated, we are exploring strategic alternatives for Fuse, and will have no further comment during what is still an ongoing process."
According to Business Week, whoever ends up winning the bid for FuseTV will get access to 74 million more households. Those familiar with the process say a buyer will be chosen by the end of March.
Lopez and Combs dated from 1999 to 2001.
