Former hockey player Sean Avery is joining the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars.

Page Six exclusively reports that the former New York Ranger is joining Dancing With The Stars. Avery was seen working out with in New York, with Tracy Anderson, who is Gwyneth Paltrow's trainer. Avery, also posted a video online showing off dance moves he learned from Anderson, however the video was later deleted. Along with Avery Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes and former Full House star Candace Cameron-Bure have also reportedly been confirm to be joining Avery as celebrity contestants this season.

Hollywood Life reveals that Avery wasn't the only athlete to be invited to join the cast of Dancing With The Stars. In addition, to Avery, Tim Tebow and Ray Lewis were asked as well. Other celebrities who were approach are Stuart Scott, Bruce Jenner, Sharon Osbourne, Juan Pablo Galavis, Cody Simpson, Kelly Brook, and Carla Hall.

Examiner states that the official cast of Dancing With The Stars will be announced on Good Morning America on Tuesday, March 4.
