Gwen Stefani, 44, and husband Gavin Rossdale welcomed their third son on Friday. The baby boy was named Apollo Bowie Flynn Rossdale.
According to eonline Rossdale confirmed the news on Saturday and added a brief history of the baby’s middle names. Bowie and Flynn are each of their mother’s maiden names.
The couple met in 1995 when their bands, Bush and No Doubt were touring together. They have been married since 2002 and have two sons, Kingston 7, and Zuma, 5. Rossdale also has a daughter, Daisy Lowe, 24, from a brief relationship with Pearl Lowe.
The new baby comes as an incredible gift seeing as the couple tried several years ago, but never got pregnant. According to nydailynews in an October 2012 interview Stefani said, "I really, really, really wanted one about two years ago. And it didn't really work out.”
It was no secret that Stefani was ready for a little girl since she is surrounded by a house full of boys, but nonetheless the rocker mom is overjoyed with the new addition.
