Saturday baseball on Fox will sound a little different this season. Joe Buck will have two new color commentators joining him in the booth: Harold Reynolds and Tom Verducci.

Reynolds is a former player who was elected to the All-Star game twice during his career, which ended in 1994. However, he has successfully made the transition to broadcasting, spending a decade at ESPN before he was fired in 2006. He has been a mainstay on the MLB network, which launched in 2009, notes The Associated Press.

As for Verducci, he is a Sports Illustrated writer and has covered the playoffs for TBS since 2008. He and Reynolds frequently appear together on the MLB Network.

Tim McCarver announced his plans to retire before the 2013 season began. He joined Buck in the booth for the entire season, wrapping up his career with the World Series between the Red Sox and Cardinals. He covered nearly 30 seasons with Fox before retiring.

The new Fox Sports MLB team will call their first game together on April 5 when the Giants take on the Dodgers.
