HBO's third season of Lena Dunham's popular Girls wrapped on Sunday and the ratings for the finale are up slightly from the year before.
It wasn't a large bump from last year though for the steady comedy show, with the initial airing at 9 p.m. snagging 670,000 viewers, which is a 6 percent increase from season two, reports TheWrap. The combined viewership across all three airings for the night was 1 million.
The half-hour comedy program remained even on ratings with last year at 4.6 million viewers averaged between each platform Girls is available on for each episode, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The consistent numbers from season to season show why the premium cable network had no problem previously renewing the show for a fourth season of 12 episodes.
The finale comes just two weeks before two comedies hit HBO on Sunday night. Comedy veteran Veep and freshman comedy Silicon Valley are set to air Sunday nights following Game of Thrones on April 6.
