Designer Issac Mizrahi is opening up in his new memoir, tentatively entitled I.M..
According to the Associated Press, the 52 year old designer has previously written How to Have Style. How to Have Style is a fashion advice book that was released in 2008.
With the new book, Mizrahi will be discussing his unhappy childhood in Brooklyn and what it is like to become a mainstay in the fashion industry. Amy Einhorn Books, an imprint of Penguin Random House announced that Mizrahi’s new book is scheduled for release in 2016.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the designer has appeared as a judge on the popular show, Project Runway. He has also participated in the television projects, The Fashion Show and Beautopia. He has appeared on the television series, Ugly Betty.
Mizrahi won an Emmy in 1993 for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Costume Design for a Variety or Music Program for Liza Minnelli Live from Radio City Music Hall. He shared the honor with Julie Weiss.
