James Lowe, the boyfriend of Ella Yelich-O’Connor, better known as Lorde, finally spoke out about their relationship.

Lowe, 24, opened up about the two’s relationship through a post on his blog Ono Field on March 18.

In the post entitled, “Everybody Returns Some Day,” Lowe discusses the struggle he has had to clearly and eloquently share his thoughts over the last several months and discuss whatever misconceptions that is in the public.

“Since originally sitting down to write this post, Ella has become a two-time Grammy winner,” Lowe, who is a photographer stated. “She has taken home a Brit too.”

He discusses how at the time he wrote the post, Lorde was on the other side of the world on tour; Lowe had nothing bad to say about the predicament.

“As much as I miss her, I couldn’t be prouder of what she has achieved so far. If you are lucky enough to attend one of her shows on this current tour, you’ll experience more than just her voice,” Lowe wrote. “The production she has dreamt up looks incredible… I can’t wait to see it myself next month.”

Lowe then discussed how the duo’s relationship has grown since they first began dating and how it has changed.

According to E! News, Lowe and Lorde confirmed their relationship in January during the singer’s issue of Rolling Stone.

While Lowe has spoken out about being the target of tabloids and center of jokes with cyberbullying and paparazzi according to E! News, he has said that the positives of the experience have outweighed the negatives calling it a “bright, shining silver lining to this thing I’ve been exposed to.”

“I’ve been able to tell tales of the many amazing people I’ve met along the way,” Lowe explained, “from fellow photographer, to artists I’ve always admired and never thought I’d get to meet, let alone have a simple thing like coffee with.”
