Fifty Shades of Grey’s leading man, Jamie Dornan, reveals his ex-girlfriend, Keira Knightley prepared him for fame.
According to Vogue, the couple dated for two years a decade ago, and despite his successful career, the 31-year-old is not fond of the paparazzi.
"It was a strange environment to find yourself in, being hounded and followed," Dornan said. "It's really hideous. F--king hell, [the paparazzi] are cretins. I couldn't have less respect for those guys. There are so many ways to make a living that don't involve hiding in bushes opposite houses of 18-year-old girls with a camera in your hand…And I don’t think I’m ever going to be as famous as her.”
Dornan may be wrong about the last statement as fans gear up to see the highly anticipated film, Fifty Shades of Grey.
According to E! News, his wife, Amelia Warner, is very supportive of his risky career move, however, his friends aren’t as eager.
"A friend of mine said, 'I heard about Fifty Shades. Congratulations on that role. That's going to be disgusting. I won't watch it,'" Jamie shared.
Even though Dornan’s friends might not be watching the movie, we know plenty of fans will be.
The film is set to debut Valentine’s Day 2015.
