Joan Rivers was photographed dashing to her car during a party in Los Angeles and she appeared to be covered in cake. Anyone outside of the party wasn't sure what had happened, but everything became clear on Saturday.
The L.A. party was the QVC Red Carpet Style bash, which is put on ahead of the Academy Awards on Sunday, reports People. The 80-year-old was friendly and dressed up for the party before it started but later was seen trying to avoid photographers as she looked to be covered in icing and cake.
People were initially confused and wondering what had happened.
Well the mystery was revealed on Saturday, according to the New York Daily News when a recording of the stunt appeared on YouTube and it turns out it was all Miss Piggy's fault. A confrontation between the two was staged to start the launch of a new LifeStyle Brand on QVC.
The two are seen arguing with each other before Miss Piggy accidentally shoves her into a conveniently located cake.
Friday night, Miss Piggy tweeted: "If @Joan_Rivers can do a line on @QVC, I can do it better! How do you like them apples, Joannie!?"
