The Gosselin family is heading back to the small screen however Jon Gosselin is not excited about it. After it was announced that a TLC special would be airing showing the present life of the popular large family with a set of twin daughters and sextuplets, their father, Jon Gosselin, did not agree with putting his children back on television.
As previously reported a one-hour special will air in June to give an update of the family. Kate Gosselin has voiced much excitement about the show saying, “They cheered like crazy. It was like I announced that it’s Christmas tomorrow. Our crew walked in and it was like they had never left,” reported US Weekley.
However father Gosselin does not share this same joy. Believing to have his kids best interest at heart, Gosselin instead feels it is not as great an idea for the children to be on TV again.
Gosselin’s feelings will not play much of a role though as Kate did not need his permission to bring the children back on television.
Jon & Kate Plus 8 starred the then married couple alongside their eight children, twins, Cara and Mady, now 13, and sextuplets, Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah, and Joel, now 9, from 2007 until 2009. However after divorcing in 2009, only Kate came back to the newly named show Kate Plus 8 which aired from 2010 until 2011.
