Actress Juno Temple has been cast in a key role for HBO's currently untitled rock 'n' roll project.
According to Variety, the project comes from several big names: Martin Scorsese, Terence Winter, George Mastras and Mick Jagger.
Temple, who is in the upcoming Maleficent with Angelina Jolie, will play an assistant working at a record label.
She works under the previously cast Bobby Cannavale. Olivia Wilde is also on board for the project, playing Cannavale's character's wife.
The drama is set in New York during the 1970s as the punk scene and disco were beginning to gain traction and follows an executive at a record label looking to latch onto a new sound to become popular again, reports TheWrap.
Mastras and Winter are on board to write the pilot together as well as executive produce. Scorsese will direct the pilot and also executive produce. The project, which has been in the works for a couple years will also feature Rick Yorn, Victoria Pearman and Emma Tillinger Koskoff as exec producers.
