Pop superstar Justin Bieber decided to get a tattoo, 40,000 feet in the air, following his arrest in Miami.
TMZ reported that on a flight back to Canada, Bieber decided to get a tattoo of a cross across his chest. Bieber had his tattoo artist fly with him in route from Miami to Canada and got inked in flight.
The tattoo was done by New York City artist Bang Bang, who is known for putting his own ink on Rihanna, Katy Perry and even Selena Gomez.
According to an FAA representatives, getting a tattoo while in flight is perfectly legal as long as it doesn't harm the crew or other passengers.
The "As Long As You Love Me' singer took to Instagram to show off the final product, Billboard added.
Following the completion of the flight, Bieber sent a text message to Bang Bang explaining the meaning behind the tattoo. The text reportedly explained that it was about forgiveness because Jesus died for our sins on the cross.
Bieber has been conflicted about his future career plans but fans are dedicated as ever, lending their support to the singer through Twitter, Facebook and Instagram following his arrest.
The singer once again took to Instagram to express his support to fans and even compared himself to when Michael Jackson was on trail. Posting this split screen shot on the social media site.
