Justin Bieber’s court date for his DUI, resisting arrest and driving without a valid license case has been set for May in Miami, Fla.
The “As Long As You Love Me” singer, 20, was arrested on Jan. 23 and the decision over his court date had to be postponed due to his lawyers fighting the media over the release of jail footage, showing him failing a field sobriety test and pointing his finger at a cop at the police station.
That video footage has since been released, but the part where he’s seen urinating in a cup for a drug test has been blurred out.
Business Insider reports Bieber has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him and he has reportedly rejected a plea deal that prosecutors offered him. The deal was he would be subjected to random drug testing, 40 hours of community service, an alcohol education course and attending a DUI panel in which families of victims share their stories.
At the time of his arrest, Bieber was under the influence of alcohol, marijuana and Xanax.
