Pop star Ke$sha is back to her career as a recording artist after completing her two month treatment at a rehab facility.
The singer has struggled with an eating disorder, and entered Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center on January 3, according to MTV. She was seen in Los Angeles with the t-shirt that says, “I’m a Survivor.” She wore ripped black jeans and Converse shoes.
According to the Daily Mail, Ke$ha wrote on her Twitter, “Happy to be back! Feeling healthy & working on tons of new music, I can't thank my fans enough for all the love & support u have given me’”
Her family also offered words of support. Pebe Sebert revealed that her daughter ‘nearly died’ as a result of an eating disorder. Ke$ha released her first album, Animal. Her songs, “Tik Tok” and “We R Who We R.” She is also a songwriter for other artists, writing, “Till the World Ends” for Britney Spears. Ke$ha has released several albums, including Animal and Warrior. Ke$sha has participated in two tours, Get Sleazy Tour and Warrior Tour. In 2010, she won Top New Artist for Billboard. She won Best New Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
