Kendall Jenner grew up in front of the camera as her family filmed Keeping Up With The Kardashians, however as she’s been branching off with her own modeling career she’s looking to be independent from her family.
While the 18-year-old was able to make her official modeling debut walking on the runway during Fashion Week in New York, London and Paris, there are still people criticizing how she’s broke into the industry.
According to HuffPost Celeb sisters Khloe, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian were asked to discuss Jenner’s success.
Jenner had been accused of calling in for some favors in order to walk in the Givenchy show during the Paris Fashion Week. Rumors sparked because Kim as well as her fiancé, Kanye West, are close with the creative director of Givenchy.
However according to E! News, Kim was quick to deny those rumors.
“She works her butt off! She just goes to casting after casting,” Kim said. “I’m so proud of her that she—for her first Fashion Week- was able to achieve all the shows she was able to walk in. She’s living her dream and it’s so inspiring to watch her.”
Jenner isn’t looking for any handouts as Gossip Cop revealed that she doesn’t use her family’s fame to get her modeling jobs. She doesn’t use her last name at all.
“She went and auditioned, and she just goes by the name of Kendall,” Kim shared.
