The former MTV Reality TV stars of Laguna Beach, Kristin Cavallari and Lauren Conrad have been compared to one another. Cavallari opens up about the constant comparison and doesn’t hold back about her opinion.

The Huffington Post reports that Cavallari, 27, went on the HuffPost Live to talk about her new role on Fabulist. During the interview the issue of her decision regarding not wanting to vaccinate her children was brought up. Cavallari doesn’t want to vaccinate her children because of the possibility of autism.

"There's really scary statistics out there, and to each their own. Autism wasn't prevalent -- like it is now -- years ago, so something is going on, whether it's the chemicals in our food or the vaccines," said Cavallari. "Something is happening, and we can't really ignore that. I choose to believe that I think it's in the vaccines but, again, to each their own and that's where I stand on it.”

The interview shifted to how Cavallari felt about being constantly compared to Conrad. In response Cavallari gave a blunt backward compliment to Conrad.

"Yeah of course, but it's been a part of my career since day one," said Cavallari. "I've been getting them for 10 years. I expect it, it is what it is. It doesn't bother me. There's worse people to be compared to."

US Magazine reports that the former reality stars rivalry all started when they fought for the attention of Stephen Colletti. The first two season of Laguna Beach was centered around the angst and dramatic love triangle.

Cavallari and Conrad have put the war between them to rest. The first siting of the two forming a friendship was when Cavallari attended Conrad’s fashion show in 2008.
