Lady Gaga kicked off her residency at New York’s Roseland Ballroom on her 28th birthday on Friday, performing her new single “G.U.Y” for the first time live.

Gaga sang 12 songs during her hour-long set in addition to “G.U.Y,” including “Born This Way,” “Black Jesus - Amen Fashion,” “Monster,” “Bad Romance,” “Sexx Dreams,” “Dope,” “You And I,” “Just Dance,” “Poker Face,” “Artpop” and “Applause.”

As we previously reported back in November, Gaga will be performing the last set of shows at the Roseland Ballroom, which will close after nearly 100 years.

“This is so exciting! How completely epic for an amazing venue,” she said during the show, Billboard reports. “I mean, what a dream come true. Who has a 10-day funeral?”

She also called the night her “best birthday ever,” which featured a surprise visit from her boyfriend Taylor Kinney.

She took to Twitter to show Kinney kissing her on the cheek, writing “Another amazing birthday moment. I love surprises!”
