Lamar Odom’s drug dealers may be responsible for the $250,000 jewelry heist at Odom and Khloe Kardashian’s home.
Insiders spoke to TMZ and revealed that Odom was in debt over drugs that he had never paid for. Reportedly, he owed $15,000 to one dealer since September and owed another more than $40,000.
Odom originally told his dealers that he had the money and he would get it to them. He then said that the drugs were “wack” and therefore wasn’t going to pay. He left to Spain last month to play basketball without ever paying up.
Kardashian evidently noticed that the house had been robbed when she and her mother, Kris, went to retrieve some of her things that were left there, according to Contact Music. The house had been sold in January after her and ex-husband, Odom, split up.
There were no signs of forced entry into the house. Police are still investigating the case.
