Good Morning America anchor Lara Spencer has signed a new contract that with keep her at Good Morning America.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Spencer has closed a deal to stay on at Good Morning America. According to Spencer the decision of her staying was a very easy one. Spencer says, "This was a simple decision; I love what I do, and I adore the people I work with." The completion of Spencer's deal comes after fellow Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts closed a deal at the end of last year to stay with the show for many more years. Good Morning America has already lost former weatherman Sam Champion, who left last December to go work for the Weather Channel. Since, 2011 Spencer has served as Good Morning America's lifestyle anchor and is a key member of the show. Aside, from appearing on Good Morning America Spencer also is seen on the red carpet at the Oscars doing coverage for ABC.

The Wrap reveals how Spencer's fellow Good Morning America anchor Josh Elliott is nearing the end of his current deal in the upcoming weeks and is considering making a switch to go work at NBC Sports.Good Morning America has achieved a lot of success over the last year by breaking the Today Show's streak as the number one morning show program.
