Lindsay Lohan’s sober coach, Michael Cormier, was seen leaving New York to go back to Los Angeles on Sunday’s new episode of Lindsay on OWN. She expressed uneasiness that he wouldn’t be there to help her, as she said he helped to hold her accountable.
The 27-year-old actress admitted she did come “close” to relapsing and before he left, Cormier admitted he wasn’t sure if she was sober or not.
“I'm sober but I've been very close. It has come very close and it's really scary,” she said in a one-on-one interview, ABC News reports. Meanwhile, Cormier said he had no “hard evidence” she wasn’t sober but was hesitant to answer definitively.
"I do love the nightlife and hearing loud music and dancing and laughing and having fun and that's a great feeling," she also said. "But it's knowing when you're able to be in that situation and not feel uncomfortable when someone has a drink around and stuff like that."
She told Oprah Winfrey on a previous episode that she hasn’t gone out “at all.”
