Grammy winning and young New Zealand break out starlet Lorde will be teaming up with MAC cosmetics and the new line is set to be released in the summer.
People reports that Lorde, 17, has always been a fan of MAC makeup and is extremely excited to be a part of the new line.
“I have loved MAC cosmetics since I was a little kid,” she said. “I remember saving up to buy my very first MAC lipstick [Snob] at 14, and it was used by about 20 of my friends! MAC has a very clear aesthetic that has always felt fashion forward to me. So I was really excited to work with them on these products, which I use pretty much every day and night. I hope you will too.”
Lorde is known for having a sleek classic look as she is notably seen wearing dark lipstick. Perhaps the new line will showcase a smoky eye look and desirable shades of dark lipstick.
The ‘Team” singer also put the lesbian rumors that involve her best friend Taylor Swift to rest. Huffington Post reports that Lorde put the radio disc jokey Kyle Sandilands from the Australian show The Kyle & Jackie O Show in his place after he insinuated that Swift and Lorde were in a “lesbian relationship.”
Lorde had gone on the show to talk about her upcoming shows in Australia. Sandilands started to joke around and told Lorde that he saw pictures of her and Swift everywhere. Lorde did not see the humor in his demeanor, and asked him if there was a problem with being lesbian.
Sandilands responded, "Oh my god, no, I would love that. Are you gonna confirm now you're in a lesbian relationship with her?”
Lorde quickly shot him down by saying, "Don't even try it. It's not working.”
