The Los Angeles-based equipment supply company, ShowFx Inc, which is in charge of Miley Cyrus’ Bangerz tour, is being sued by a man who claims the giant tongue prop injured him badly.
Charles Nicholas Sarris filed paperwork to sue the company, claiming he was never warned of the dangers that could go along with working on the giant tongue slide.
TMZ reports Sarris was one of the workers who constructed the tongue and he fell off of it and injured himself. He claimed in the lawsuit that the tools provided to assist him on building it failed him, which caused the fall.
A huge prop of Miley Cyrus’ open mouth is used in her Bangerz shows, with the “We Can’t Stop” singer, 21, winking at the crowd. She slides out of a large slide meant to look like her famous tongue.
As we previously reported, some people were trying to get Cyrus’ Bangerz tour canceled due to the racy nature of it.
