Actress and singer Mandy Moore and husband Ryan Adams prove that love does exist in tinsel town as they celebrate their five years of marriage.
The Daily Mail reports that the couple got married on March 10, 2009. The couple got engaged a month prior to walking down the aisle. Moore and Adams’ wedding was small and private in Savannah, Georgia.
Their family and friends were not in attendance for the big day. Due to the absence of their loved ones Moore and Adams had a big celebration for their fifth year anniversary. The party was themed as a Fifties prom. The couple and their guest went all out with costumes and accessories.
People reports that Moore posted a picture on her Instagram of the festivity. The picture had the caption, “Celebrating love w the greatest friends and family last night. Feeling incredibly grateful today."
A source who was at the themed bash revealed some details to US Magazine
"Everyone was told to wear their best '50s prom outfits. People were toasting Ryan and Mandy. They were lovely together. Slim Jim Phantom performed all night and was playing hillbilly rock tunes."
Moore also posted a snap shot of her marriage certificate from 2009 for Throwback Thursday. She wrote, “The best 5 years…”
The couple isn’t ready for children quite yet, but they are happy to be parents to their rescue cats Vincent and Theo and adopted dog Joni. "We're enjoying the animal children first," said Moore.
