Maria Menounos has left her co-hosting job with Mario Lopez on Extra, sources say. Her rep wouldn’t comment on the report and the show said they wouldn’t comment "on talent contracts or negotiations."

Menounos, who just debuted her own Oxygen reality show Chasing Maria Menounos last week, left the show on her own to explore other professional options.

"Maria was 100 percent not fired," a source told Us Weekly. "The truth is, she decided months ago on her own to explore other options, as she knew her contract was coming up for renewal. She made this decision."

Furthermore, despite rumors she wasn’t getting along with Lopez, sources say there’s no "bad energy.” The source continued, "Maria has so much going on with her reality show, and she's happy that she has so many options to explore right now."

Menounos’ reality show follows her life living in the same house as her longtime boyfriend Keven Undergaro and both of her parents. The show premiered on March 18.
