The Miami Heat lost at home Friday night to the Denver Nuggets making this their fifth loss in six games. LeBron James came alive in the fourth quarter but it was a little too late as the Nuggets managed to get the 111-107 victory.

The Heat are aware of their situation and know that they need to snap out of it in order to have any chance of a three-peat. According to the miamiherald James commented on his team’s position saying, “We’ve been here before. It has been a while, but we’ve been here before, and this moment will either define our season or end our season…”

So what’s causing this string of losses? Coach Erik Spoelstra thinks turnovers have been their biggest problem the last two games. But, others think it is the lack of consistency from the supporting players. According to espn Shane Battier, Mario Chalmers, Ray Allen and Norris Cole together are shooting 33.7 percent.

The Heat look for a win Sunday afternoon in Miami against the Houston Rockets.
