The New York Jets continue to have question marks at the quarterback position, and they will look to possibly address this as Michael Vick is scheduled to visit them on Friday.

According to Philly, Vick and the Jets have mutual interest. Vick is expected to be a backup with the Jets as second-year quarterback Geno Smith looks to take the next step forward. He led the Jets to an 8-8 record, showing promise toward the end of the season.

However, there is speculation that Vick could take over the starting job if Smith struggles. Vick has expressed his desire to be a starting quarterback, but a starting job would be difficult for him to find. There is a possibility that he may return to the Philadelphia Eagles and continue as Nick Foles' backup.

The Jets are expected to release former starter Mark Sanchez, who would charge the Jets' salary cap $13.1 million, according to ESPN. This leaves the door open for them to sign Vick. Vick has also reportedly garnered interest from the Oakland Raiders and Buffalo Bills.
