Milwaukee Bucks guard O.J. Mayo was suspended Saturday for a move that he made during Friday night’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans. With less than two minutes left in the first quarter Mayo punched Pelicans center Greg Stiemsma in the throat.

After the play the referees gave Mayo a flagrant foul 2 and ejected him from the game. The league decided to suspend Mayo for one game for his actions.

According to cbssports Mayo commented on the incident saying, "I reacted the wrong way and handled it for sure the wrong way ... It's definitely the wrong way to conduct yourself. I've got to be better and I will be better."

This wasn’t the only nasty play the Bucks have made recently. According to sportsillustrated It was the second consecutive game the Bucks had a player miss a game for punching an opponent. Forward Ersan Ilyasova missed Friday night's loss for punching Sacramento's Reggie Evans in the stomach on Wednesday night.

The Bucks have the worst record in the league at 12-50.
