MTV has launched a special website for fans to discuss the death of one of Teen Wolf's main characters. On Monday night's eposide character Allison Argent was killed off. Fans immediately reacted online over the death of such a main character.

For non-Teen Wolf viewers, Argent, who is played by actress Crystal Reed, was the ex-girlfriend of Scott McCall,who is the main character on the MTV drama, AP reported.

MTV approached Jeff Davis, the show's executive producer about killing off Argent and he was not sure at first. "As the creator of the show, these characters were like my children," Davis explained.

The death of a main character on Monday night's eposide was not a surprise. MTV had been advertising that a main character would be killed off the show, even though that character's identity was not released prior to the eposide airing.

Teen Wolf is going strong for MTV when it comes to ratings. The third season premier brought in over 3.5 million viewers.
