The Seattle Police Department have released 35 new pictures from the death scene of late Nirvana frontman, Kurt Cobain, nearly 20 years after he was found dead in his Seattle-area home.
According to CBS News, the SPD came across four rolls of undeveloped film from the original crime scene. The film was developed as part of the re-opening of the investigation of Cobain's death.
The pictures released include a photo of the suicide note left by Cobain, a heroine kit that he had, which included syringes and other drug paraphernalia that was kept in a cigar box, and the interior of the room where Cobain died. The photos depict the state that Cobain had been in in the days leading up to his death, including the room which he had died in, a greenhouse above a garage, which was completely empty besides a single bar stool.
With the 20 year anniversary of Cobain's death coming in April, the frontman, and his band Nirvana have been in the news a lot lately. According to Rolling Stone, Cobain's hometown of Aberdeen, WA. dubbed February 20 "Kurt Cobain Day". Nirvana will also be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year.
