Nichols Hoult recently opened up about his quiet relationship with girlfriend, Jennifer Lawrence.

In the spring issue of V Man magazine, Hoult talks about what it is like to work with Lawrence and how the uprising fame has not gotten to the Oscar winning actress’s head.

The two and began dating soon after filming X-Men: First Class together in 2011, reports US Weekly. They broke up two years later but got back together after working on X-Men: Days of Future Past.

“"It’s fun because in this business you are away from one another for long periods of time, so when you’re on set together it’s a brilliant thing, because you actually get to spend time together," Hoult said, when asked what it was like to work with his girlfriend. "Especially with this film, I got to spend time with her.”

Lawrence has been nominated for an Oscar three times throughout the course of the past three years, for her roles in Winter's Bone, Silver Linings Playbook, and American Hustle. She won in 2012 for her performance in Silver Linings and has become a household name as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games series.

Hoult explains that even with her impressive resume, she has not let the fame change who she is.

"It’s like that thing whereby you don’t believe your own hype. Enjoy the good times, but don’t get swept away with it," he gushed, according to The Huffington Post. "I think that’s something she’s capable of doing, and that’s what makes her special, but yeah, it is very odd, and I am just kind of a bystander in many ways. I haven’t really seen any change in her."
