Fox has announced that comedian, Nick Frost, will be joining the upcoming pilot Sober Companion.
Frost is known for his work on the very popular British comedies The World's End and Hot Fuzz. He is known as part of the comedy crew that consists of Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright.
Sober Companion will tell the story of Robert, who will be played by Frost. Robert is a smart and motivated attorney who is also an addict. After he shows up to court drunk, he is assigned a sober companion for the next 90 days.
Frost is also a comedy writer but it is not known if his writing talents would be used on the upcoming project.
Justin Lon, Pete Davidson and Ally Maki are already casted to be feature in the upcoming pilot, Variety reported.
Jennie Snyder Urman will be writing the show and will be an executive producer along with David. S. Rosenthal, The Hollywood Reporter detailed.
The project was sold to Fox last summer but the series has not yet been picked up by Fox.
